No, he can't pay some preferred shareholders and not all.

The only way this continues is if the preferred shareholders agree to take 100% ownership of the common. Not likely, but otherwise, no source of funds.

I do sense that some dilution (for some beneficial purpose) is going on, and I share your sentiment that we have to be patient and trust Mr. B's ethics and his long experience.
