My favorite shot happened on a par 5...drove it in the trees trying to cut a dogleg---had to pitch out sideways and only advanced it about 30 yards---had ~215 left and jarred a 5 wood....of course this was back in the days when you couldn't hit a 7 iron 215 yards LOL...

HMMM law of averages seems to hasve eluded me. Playing 44 years now as a member. average 50 rounds a year throughout that time as for a decade I was more like 20 rounds a year but many 80 rounds or more a year years. so say 2000 rounds and 4 par 3s per round o I have 8000 attempts.

Now maybe its because I play for middle of the green because I am adamn 4 HCP so one would think I might hit it close now and then.

SO I have NONE and most of my par 3s are short. 3 of the 4 are a 7 iron or less.

SO maybe today is the day. I have played every day since sunday and am playing today and next 3 days. Maybe I go pinseeking today
