Well, they not only own Mandalay Bay, they own the land the festival was held on. So MGM is going to be on every tort lawyers radar scope. Just being realistic about it.
Word is (see Steve Wynn's interview on 60 Minutes where he spills the beans) that the shooter used the "back door" / freight elevator to haul his goods to the room. If that's the case, that's grounds alone for a big MGM lawsuit. Stay tuned; as LVPD said just the other day; "The facts will change as we learn more".
