I agree, sort of. The series 7, series 66 exams, while difficult for the average layman, are relatively easy to pass with enough time and preparation.

I'd be curious to see how Parsi would fare in a Financial Modeling course at a top-25 MBA program.

You are correct that with the amount of funding he has raised $7+ by my estimates, there should be more than two locations. To be fair, he did have a third location that closed due to factors beyond his control, and if I am not mistaken, his original location in Brentwood closed because it did not have enough space.

Brentwood also has notoriously bad parking. Unless you're willing to risk being towed for parking illegally at the Whole Foods on San Vicente, or you're willing to pay for the valet parking at Cheesecake Factory, there's not much point in opening a retail shop there.

That said, everything in the past is prologue. I'm not paying $1/share for Giggles, I'm paying .01 to .10 for it. So his mistakes are discounted into the current price. All I care about going forward is whether he has learned from them and is capable of growing the business from today on.

I believe he is. But, I also believe he's not going to do it with corporate owned stores. He is going to have to franchise out, in America, not Bahrain or anywhere else internationally.

I'm giving him five years. He's got 4 years and 7 months to prove himself to me. Your timeline may differ.
