It's not only sad, it's tragic and possibly criminal. Pure CBD that is synthetically produced will NEVER be as effective as CBD extracted from the cannabis plant. Terpenes, enzymes, and dozens of other cannabinoids work synergistically together to work their magic. This is why our cells have CB1 and CB2 receptors. Synthetic analogues aren't even recognized by them as beneficial molecules. You can never achieve the results with synthetics that you can with natural extracts. Also we are using >3% THC in our cream. You can bet Dr. Rozenblatt and Dr. Baruch are doing so because they know what is most effective.
