I agree with the new management teams smarts. Unfortunately Sigma does not have a marketing or a financial issue they have an issue with product acceptance in the marketplace. I'm not sure how the new management can correct that. Kudos to them if they do. They will have to show me.

That's like saying a lawyer won't take a case because they might not win. That doesn't happen. They do the work because it's their business and they get paid for it. Likewise, this is the business John Reynolds Rice is in, and there's no reason to think he cares about the company - just another client, much like coca-cola was a couple years ago. We're paying him to fix Mark Colas' blunders. He'll get paid if he's successful or not.

I just don't think that people with his degree of formal and street education take on this sort of work -- particularly in a case where this might be their last big endeavor -- without a pretty high degree of confidence, not only in themselves, but in that which they are signing on to sell.
