There was a number of buy orders just under 3.3+ per share. Enough to absorb the selling. So not only did the large sell remove resistance, it also would have the effect of clearing support that was sitting there on buy limit orders.
This very much could have been a short sell to clear out support. With that said, I don't think it had quite the effect intended if that was the case.
If an actual investor selling, then yes, resistance should now be gone clearing the way to go higher.
If a short seller, it did not negatively impact the stock as they may have wished.
In either case, that was a large number of shares being sold and the interest in the stock absorbed it well.
