If all companies did an 8k every time they won business, that is all they would be doing. My company just landed a big deal with Ford. We did not do an 8k. However, Ford gets a discount if they allow my company to put them on our website as a customer. This was a good win, but we did not do an 8k. I think it is great they use social media because it is free and it keeps the shareholders in the loop rather than waiting for the quarterly reports.
