Did DOC ever say, in 4 years, that he was in active partnership discussions? Not once. And the majority of his deals were non-accretive, due to his "retain rights whenever possible" view. Which may or may not have been the correct view--in hindsight probably not, mainly in light of the share price suppression--but what we need now is cash upfront. The fact that Lombardo acknowledged that he is in active negotiations is reassuring to me, even though I suspected it was the case. This leaves no doubt. The most important issue the company faces right now is to ensure no dilution at least through the EMA process time period. Music to my ears.
