Probably true. A component of La Croix's rise was its "advertising" on Instagram, sans the big name celebrities. What % was it of is attributable to La Croix's rise? I don't think anyone really knows but influencing mothers (typically the grocery shopper in the family) wasn't a small thing.
Per the latest CC, CEO BDW stated 80% to 90% of the purchase decision is at the point of purchase. Social media probably won't render big returns (if anything) for us but it also won't cost a lot either. Kind of a like a lottery ticket you hope goes viral. Gotta be in it to win it.
