Sorry, butt that is only GUESSING. There is no way to know who is selling or buying based on which MM is bidding or on the ask.

GUESSING is nott knowing. Claiming to KNOW when it's nott possible to know from L2, provides only guesses.

Unless one has access to blue sheets information, all they can do is GUESS.

L2 does NOTT provide info on who the actual retail account buyer or seller is.

And sophisticated large traders will break up their trades over multiple MMs, and automated routing also does this.

Butt in any case, one can't look at L2 and determine the identity of the buyer or seller simply from MM and bid/ask.

And there is no way for the retail investor to know whether Arctus has sold any shares or bought shares on the open market - or done anything at all.

Anyone who thinks they KNOW something about a party's position, sells, or buys based on L2 MM quotes is simply guessing or wishful thinking.

May as well draw CONclusions from gazing into a crystal ball or reading tea leaves. Those COnclusions would be just as valid as looking at L2 and thinking one can track a particular party's position and trades based on MM quotes.
