Alot of people have been trained by the short cartel to fear things that don't warrant fear, such as what can only be a positive news update from the CEO. But they've been convinced that anything but blockbuster news is somehow a negative. It's a case of letting share price skew the perception of reality. Which is precisely the shorts' goal.
