#45242 RE: CCBA #45241

Glassware may be real. But what does that mean? Is there code that the company calls Glassware? Sure. Can it do what they claim? The evidence is a resounding no.

Want proof? Are there any clients? Can they demonstrate mainframe apps running on Glassware? Can they demonstrate Apple iOS or OSX apps running on Glassware? Can they demonstrate Android, AIX, Linux running on Glassware? In 3 plus years they have never once, not once, demonstrated these capabilities.

Has the ATM market disappeared? No. So why are ATM vendors and users not using Glassware if it is the only way to deliver ATM apps in the cloud?

Have companies stopped using "legacy" apps? If not, why are there no companies using Glassware to deliver their legacy apps?

Have schools stopped using Windows apps, or Chromebook, or educational testing software like Pearson? No, so where are all the schools using Glassware?

Have Dell and Google gone out of business? No, so where are all the products with Glassware embedded?

Hase Novorad gone out of business? Have hospitals stopped using Xray technologies? No, so where are all the NovoGlas clients?

Has VMware gone out of business? No. So where are all the VMware clients using Glassware and DCO?

There is a pattern here that a cynic might view with suspicion.

So, what is left at Sphere? Low end storage and tape, the same technologies that had delivered 8 years of consecutive quarterly losses.

Glassware is basically fake news. It was never production ready. Consider it a Windows 2008 Server hack that again, never got beyond pilot status. All IMHO.
