You seem to know all the arguments..., To me, the biggest question is whether ChemoStat, is in fact, their golden goose. That's where the DD should start.
An optimistic goal is $200 million revenue worldwide someday. Of course nobody can know exactly, there is room for ever so much uncertainty. I will state again I am doubtful that the giant colorectal version of liver cancer will ever fly.
The most likely scenario was partnership and it would already be done imo, if the company was seen as attractive. Maybe they like Simpson, maybe they don't. If they don't, that does not help on the attractive scale.
