Part of the reason I like this HGEN management team is because I can relate to the challenges they face. I've been there myself, with two medical device manufacturers, over a ten year period. Both companies were very successful, and both were ultimately sold to medical industry giants.

But, you have to execute. It's a lot easier to network with DC bureaucrats when you're in Silver Spring, MD, than it is if you're based in Brisbane, CA.

Vertical integration, to include manufacturing, is key here, in my opinion. But again, I say that because I have experience (not positive) with having to rely on manufacturers to produce my product.
