When the Judge forced a settlement, in the suit that pitted GEVO against the partnership of DuPont and BP, it told the future.
GEVO went broke trying to defend its patents. There were investors out there, but there was also a group (who would that be?) that wanted to force GEVO into BR so that they could buy on-the-cheap what they couldn't win in Court.
On shaky legs, GEVO kept doing RS to keep the stock available to larger investors. It really hasn't worked, as more powerful arms kept pushing the price down.
This company might go private, if they can find a solid financial partner to do so. Or, they might cave and negotiate a BO to DuPont and BP. IN the end, those kinds of companies usually get what they want; one way or the other.
