I picked up the premium recuring payment back when it became available. I haven't been charged since. Not sure why. I did recently get an email though from them stating trial period starting 10/2/17 ending 11/2/17. Says I will he billed $4.99 on 11/2 and each month after. Hopefully we see a new rebuilt site soon. Not sure if anyone noticed but they removed alll the news and articles. Don't know why and don't want to speculate as Im clueless as to what's going but picked up some more shares the other day. Willing to gamble here.

I don't believe you will ever see monthly recurring charges in regards to tournaments for the same reason there has never been an entry fee to play one. Its a legal nightmare with all the anti-gambling laws here in the United States. Some may say, just offer entry fees to players in other countries that have more relaxed gambling laws, but that won't happen either due to the fact that GG is headquartered in and has its servers based in the US.

Now, the website can charge a monthly premium (like IHub does) for services provided, such as discounts on micro-transaction store items, or 1 on 1 tutering from a gaming professional, etc. Never tournament fees coverage for games of chance though.

Your "better then sliced bread" Laken knew that IMO and never had any intentions on making revenue off of the tournaments. Fortunately Dorwart is now in control, knows this (again all IMHO) hence the tournaments which weren't profitable at all are no more.
