Imo there were 2 main reasons they went with DOLV and both relate to what you just stated. The OS is manageable, and the convertible note holder was willing to sell the remaining portion of the note at cost.

This was probably what got them hooked, and then once they got into it, they discovered more dirty laundry that had been hidden in corners.

Fortunately for us they opted to keep the share structure and not rs it into oblivion, which they could have easily done. Once this hits, we all owe Wang a huge THANK YOU!
