tarballmonger: Oye! For the moment, the MM are controlling and they have been for the entire year. I have watched daily. I have also tested them by placing my sell prices below and above their prices. They tend to follow, BUT, in an environment where few if any are trading, they trade among each other and tend to push the price down.

They would be as happy if the price was $69.69 because they make their money anyway. Remember, they are paid to be here. They making a profit off the stock is just (LOL) an added bonus for them. A huge added bonus, but if people are not aware that they are their and the TRICKS that they play with ALL stock, WE, as a collective will not have as much power to control OUR stocks prices as we should.
In THIS particular case, WE, the present owners of SGBYD have been holding to a point where there is no other activity besides the MM's buys and sells. They, therefore, have total control. It's OUR fault.

Oye! MMs do not set the price except for very short term activity when the market is thin and void of interested parties. They do manipulate the openings to screw market orders but that is about it. This idea that MMs are manipulating SGBYD lower for some nefarious reason is absurd, though it keeps surfacing whenever posters get frustrated. True, MMs have control of the way in which they execute orders, but again, that is for short term periods when there aren't enough investors in the market to balance things out. Believe me, if the investment community got wind of SGBYD and if its DD proved positive, they would buy and the MMs would be just as happy. MMs only take short term positions and usually for market making purposes. SGBY isn't big enough to attract any conspiratorial activities.
It is and shall be all about revenues and margins. PERIOD!
