There is a FAR MORE PROBABLE explanation as to the origin of the shares being dumped...

Doesn't take much. Sell a few and gain double on what you sold on a lower ask/bid. So easy. Doesn't have to work all the time, just most of the time. And it does. Failed day traders will always supply the fuel to allow it to happen.
