Good Question, Thomas517

I just noticed eaglet pharmacy has a abuse deterrent product o the market for oxycodne.anyone know more about this?thanks

Oxaydo is Egalet's IR oxycodone with abuse-deterrent properties, but it has never been shown to be sufficiently abuse deterrent to qualify for an ADF label from the FDA. Despite the lack of an ADF label, it still costs almost $10 per pill ($889.50 for #90 at Walgreens). Compare this to generic Roxicodone at a quarter each ($23.61 for #90). I have no idea what ELTP has in mind for SequestOX, which should easily qualify for nasal and IV abuse ADF label, but it probably depends on the legal environment at the time of market entry (i.e. are insurance companies legally mandated to cover ADF's by state or federal laws).
