That having been said, there may be some strategic benefit here for Buffett and BRK, if they were to perceive that owning this mine would provide strategic benefits and synergies for Precision Castparts, which was their latest major acquisition.

And through their subsidary TIMET they consume a lot of Titanium.

I could see this mine being of particular interest to Berkshire Hathaway in regards to Precision Castparts. I would love to know who the nearly dozen players are that Niocorp is in discussions with on Scandium.
