One more time. The ticker is completely independent of the stock. They are not the same thing.
It is common for the ticker to continue trading for some time after the common shares underlying the stock have been cancelled. This is true even in high profile bankruptcies, as FINRA must be notified by the bankruptcy attorneys and provided documentation from the Federal Bankruptcy Court.
Just because the ticker is still trading means nothing. The Q on the end of the symbol proves FINRA has not been notified of anything.
