My teenage niece just passed away from a rare cancer. We were going to start her on cannabis oil (the Rick Simpson mix) but it was too late. Doctors were against it saying there's no proof it works, and exhausted all her chemo options and then put her on a Phase One trial that had never been tried for what she had. The chemo almost destroyed her heart and immune system. I researched and founds dozens of testimonials of terminally ill patients who benefited from the cannabis oil but you have to start it as early as possible.

RSII has so much potential, I hope they can achieve their goals and help those who need these types of treatments.

I agree on them opening their minds. I smoked for 38 yeas and quit on Oct. 1, 1999. I would go with the eatables if we had legal now. Smoking MJ may give me a reason to start smoking tobacco again. I feel too good to start that again

We meaning kittie88 and myself live in what is called the Bible Belt. Me being in SC is worse than NC where kittie88 lives. We are way behind the times verses other states. We just got alcohol on Sunday about 7-8 years ago.
SC will most likely be one of the last states to get MMJ and definitely REC MJ. One thing we have going for us is we have a huge influx of new people moving in from the north for jobs that also means more liberal voters coming in. But still a long hard battle to get the changes we need.
Both states have approved mmj (CBD oil) for epileptic seizures with only prescribed by a neurologist which don't know of any that will to my knowledge. In SC they have not passed anyway of being able to get it. They did however made it legal to grow industrial hemp. There again don't know of any hemp farms as of yet but was only passed a few months ago. Maybe next year. None of this will matter if the laws don't change. They didn't make it so cbd oil or products can be legally made or produced.
The bad part of all this is the heroine epidemic the most people are dying on around here. It is being laced with fentanyl which is the substance in the pain patch Duragesic. The Chinese are shipping it in to mix with the heroine. We have police getting overdosed just from coming in contact with it. Are there people getting addicted to pain pills? Yes. Some even OD on them. But the main cause is the laced heroine. Now that is hurting the people like me who doesn't abuse there meds. Been on them for years and no problems.
I have tried every form of available MMJ products for my pain. Nothing works for me except my morphine for my 5 bad disc in my back. Now I get a MMJ cream from Ca that does help my hands. I have degenerative arthritis in a good part of my body. My hands don't work very good in the mornings. Stiff and hurt. It does help with that. Also use it on my face for scaring from a bad motorcycle wreck. A friend uses it on his legs for seriosis. Puts it on one leg only. That leg almost looks normal as the other has the scaling to show people how well it works. He is a big advocate for MMJ. Still the Dr's and lawmakers say no no no. What is it going to take? We have a long way to go. Sorry for the long post. all of this is close to the heart. Have a nice day!
