The 2001 Cadillac DeVille incorporates the first integrated PC-based communications and entertainment system, including e-mail, navigation, and mapping. The Infotainment system, developed by Delphi and Bose, understands voice commands so you can write and send simple e-mails to, say, your boss from the car. It also reads incoming messages aloud. Infotainment is the first of a new generation of sophisticated onboard communications that will further enhance the mobility of the wired world. [delayed til 2002]
