I got my left hand cut in half in a towboating accident, and Paul Cook in Columbus, OH did a great job of fixing it. It's almost as good as new, and looks a lot better than any of the others I've seen after similar accidents. After 24 hours knocked out on the table over several months, I recommend him highly as a top notch hand surgeon. I was damn lucky to find myself in his care. But that's a long maritime story. Arrrrgh.

After posting my email address a while ago, I got an email from a fellow traveler who wants out of jail. I told him I'd pass the message along. He's 1yankees, says he's holding 250K. Claims he got jailed for attacking Jim Bishop and Jantinna. The message has been passed along. Obviously, the poor guy wants to rejoin the fellowship, and might deserve parole, as far as I know. He just needs to learn to ignore Jan and tolerate Jim, in my opinion.

I'm out of here for now, but since it's still not midnight yet Central time, I'll just say, Shiver me timbers--we be plunderin' tomorrow!
