NOW I understand why the Day of Record may be extended. Either my number of shares as of 7/28 will be reduced by to 1/12, or there will be a NEW date altogether which would accomplish very much the same thing.

And it should encourage people to buy the re-priced shares to get in on the float - esp if good news is out.

Is it too much to even consider that the float shares issued will be based on shares owned 7/28?

At least it should not be long now.
