That is too funny, there was a move years ago to categorize cigarettes as a drug requiring a doctors prescription to purchase them which would have effectively killed the tobacco business rather than the smokers. But no congress killed that notion so quick it made my head spin. The force of lobbyists is strong in DC not to mention the taxability of the product. Yet every year they will whine about how much smoke related health issues cost taxpayers and industry but they do not want to stop the source.
