Were you in a ticker that by chance paid a dividend thru issuing news shares of that Co? Or, a Co that was sold that you held and the purchase was thru shares of the new Co? That is what I suspect it is (most likely the dividend option). Usually it takes 2-3 weeks for those to settle and then you should see the actual ticker letters.
