It appears very much so.

WB seems to have very good connections with all wall street people and institutions. WB has lots of investable money to influence. The same wall street people get appointed to high level regulatory positions.

In finance things are very much interconnected.

WB specializes in "highly regulated" sectors, shall we say. That's a delicate way of putting it. One might wonder how one succeeds so incredibly when many of one's investments are so heavily regulated.

Does one have any special "access", perhaps?
