As I understand it CA passed a law requiring all medical MJ to be tested to specific standards standards prior to the rec proposition being passed. The rec proposition will also require the same stringent testing.

My understanding is the state of CA acknowledges there's no way with the rec proposition passing that there will be enough labs ready in time so they have pushed the requirement out to June 2018(or maybe July) when originally January 2018 was the 'go-live' date of the legislation.

I'll have to go back over the transcript or dig in a bit as my google-foo can't seem to quickly locate any information on this.
