Blockchain, Bitcoin, Cryptocurrency, DAOs... It's like Palo Alto in 1995, but distributed... The best and brightest technical minds are hyper-experimenting with new uses of software technology. The impact will be more profound on society than the rise of the internet.
In the future, I believe that corporations will be replaced by decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs). In the long run, Google, Amazon, Uber, Microsoft, will seem like dinosaurs. Watch this video and read on to understand why I believe this.
