I believe Ronin is licking their chops at upfront cash via a partnership for the PS technology and rolling the resources right into AVID to finally get it out of first gear. A professional assessment should give them a foundation on which to start negotiations from.

Don't shareholders get a vote on a buyout if it comes to that? We need to find out the real interest level in the PS platform as it stands before assigning valuations.
