PennyHead,,,if the company were to be sold the share price may go up, or it may go down. It depends on what is agreed as a fair price to the buyer and the seller. In a perfect world, the share price would remain exactly what it is at the time of the sale. However, there are so many things that might cause the pps to rise or fall. If you or I were to buy the company, rest assured the price per share would fall as we don't have a clue or the contacts to keep this dream alive. However, if Warren Buffett purchased this company,,,we would all likely become instant squillionairres!

If a private company buys ONCI, it all depends for how much, divide that number by the amount of outstanding shares and you get the price per share and that amount gets deposited in you account in exchange for your shares
