That is exactly what is happening!
You have big block holders and/or their agents sitting in the HFT exchanges doing nothing but trading.That is their job,short, go flat, buy , and on an on all day!
Very difficult for the retail investor to catch this manipulation. There is no "cure" for this in that it is legal. A increase in UPTICK Rule pricing, or a tax on this "front running",..but try to get a politician to change this. It is their cash cow!
