You are 100% correct overachiever ; something stinks in Denmark.

I have been around mining and oil exploration for over 35 years; I have seen deals where parties like Shiningtree have no money (Dan) , no expertise (Dan), no business sense (Dan) where they make a deal for Royalty rights only.

They say ok, I will sell you the property but I want a 3% Net Smelter Royalty if it becomes a mine, an oil or gas well in the future.

That is the cheapest deal I have seen and Dan/Otto deal is even cheaper. The way I read it SRSR gets $250k after the first million ounces are produced?

That is chicken feed.

With a 3% Net Smelter Royalty at $1,000 an ounce gold Shiningtree at 1 million ounces would receive $30 million dollars; slightly more than $250 thousand.

So it begs that question, WTF happened in this instance?

There are only two possibilities:

1. Dan was given compensation privately, undisclosed which would be a bribe or
2. Dan is Mr. Stupid and signed the WORST deal I have ever witnessed.

Either way he is seriously undermining shareholder value.

JMO but I think the deal he got was better than letting the claim lapse and allow someone else to pick it up like the Nemegosenda claims.
He had no money so he needed to concentrate on just one.
