I have read that before. But go to OTC Markets and look what the 'brokers' trade in a day. Market Activity, Broker Dealer Data CDEL makes over 23K TRADES per day...and billions of shares per day. Those are not guys in a back room deciding what company stock to short. Their trades are computerized, based on algorithms, and each MM has certain stocks that they work with.
