you can control the market quickly by aggressive price cutting no doublt. The issue is you end up not making money unless the cost of good is very low. Sharing the 4B market with profit margin of 80% would have been much better than owning 100M market of total market with a profit margin of 10%

Then how did Teva end up controlling the market? Momenta was kicked to the street the minute competition arrived.

IMHO, Sandoz/MNTA purposely let competition take the market as they played for a large damages recovery against AMPH and the only way to get a reasonable ROI (vs. competing on price). It was worth the roll of the dice.
