gfp: There is but one universal truth....the American government lies about just about everything. I can't think of a single thing they tell the truth about consistently. They lie about inflation. They lie about jobs. They lie about North Korea. They lie about Russia. They lie about Syria. They lie about Afghanistan. They lie about Iraq. They lie about Iran. The lie about the Fed's policies. They refuse to enforce securities laws unless they want to go after some individual sucker to put on a show (like Martha Stewart). I could go on but what's the use. I should just be content that most other countries are worse.
