When people are first getting into trading, at least for me, it was difficult to hold a stock when it drops as fast as it did late today. It's very easy for people to panic (up a staircase, down an elevator).
It took me at least 5 years before I finally got used to it. And lots of bad days for me too before I conditioned my mind to see through all that crap that gets pulled to take out the more fearful traders.
