+++The answer I give is that the science has not been validated.
Let's hope that the pre-clinical I/O results are enough to spur interest in more than one outfit so that Team Ronin can orchestrate a good deal to finally get this show on the road. I believe, like many others, that the concept has been "validated" enough to be included in the I/O combo space. Perhaps that is not the case. We will soon find out after we have a management team in place that is willing to hand over the development for a reasonable price tag...if there is any interest.
This limp along crap has been a disaster. We are stuck in virtual neutral now. We simply don't have the resources to move the concept forward.
These fools have wasted more than enough time. It has gotten downright embarrassing now.....and they still have no plan.
Thorpe's idea deserves better, whether it is the next generation PS or Bavi itself.
