Actually I think the numbers are on the label. I am looking at one now. They all seem to be numbered xxxx xxxx.
My guess is the the numbers are not on the lable until the bottle is filled. This would be for quality control.
Way back when AV first came into Vegas. BG and others on the RB AV board tried to figure the codes out. 10 Months ago when it was only in a few C-Stores my bottle codes on the Sun Tea were 4201 followed by another 4 digit code that always changed. They seemed to have run it lots of 24 which led me to believe it changed per case. Here is an example:
4201 0001
4201 0002
4201 0003
That would represent 3 cases of Sun Tea. When Albertsons came around the Sun Tea Numbers were
5201 xxxx
Yet, in some C-Stores bottles with 4201 could still be found.
To top it off, the last bottles I bought from Albertsons were:
4201 and not 5201
I stretch? Probably? 4201 bottles a back up reserve? Could be.
Be advised the first 4 digits are different depending on the flavor.
