Non-final and rejected aren't the same things.

A patent rejection is a good thing and was expected. A patent that goes through first time is typically useless and is not enforceable. A truly great patent is one that is broad in scope and narrow in interpretation. That takes several rounds of re-submitting and fine tuning until you have a narrow interpretation that is easily enforceable yet covers a broad Spectrum. Anybody can apply for a patent and if it is approved first time around it isn't worth shit. Our patent attorneys are not novices and know what it takes to obtain a great patent. Each time they submit it they are asking for the biggest coverage possible under the narrow interpretation that is the bedrock this process reoccurs until they have achieved the widest coverage possible without compromising the interpretation so any claim will hold up in court. The simple concept of a patent on software for cyber secure emails is very broad we are the first to apply for such and want to make sure we do not leave any room fir someone else to find a loophole. It is a huge fundamental patent that will alone make many people very rich

The patent did NOT get rejected. It was non final. Meaning that there was an issue with legal terms. Nothing more. Patent will be approved soon
