#16389 RE: TheBioTechG #16388

Good point but he also owns a lot of other stock from previous buys/option grants and he might have felt the best course of action for him was to try and protect that previous investment with a new investment from his own pocket (rather than see the whole thing go up in smoke just before a critical announcement on combo results) but only if there was a suitable back-up plan in place (taking control of the company's assets if it went belly-up). I imagine the company knows more than we do about the combo trials results but they might not know a whole lot more.

Does anyone have any good theories why the company would change its mind about PR'ing the last patient signed up? They are beyond the deadline they set of 7/31 and it is not a good look that they have said nothing to update us and have stopped the offering short of the $15 million goal. Saltz seems to have a good read on what is going on and he said there is a good reason for it but I can't figure out what that might be. Has anyone given that some serious thought and come up with a good justification for the silence on that front and just more generally the lack of communication. It could be for positive reasons but it is human nature to assume the worst in such circumstances. So, I would like to hear a good theory backing up a more optimistic interpretation.

Does anyone know how the convertible is that Tony C ponied up his $1 million for?
If it's anything like what Paulsen has offered, Tony gets 7% interest and at the end of the period has the OPTION to convert that principle and interest into CYDY shares. OR he can just keep the total principal PLUS interest.

How is this a big risk to Tony ???
