Personally I would still play ARET again if the charts turned around and looked alot more positive but they are way to volatile for now and the MM's have messed with this thing for the last two months.

Just like any penny stock or any stock for that matter you just have to know when to get out and when to get back in. You can play penny stocks as long as they are around if you can read them right and play the charts.

Please post where they said they would be putting out a PR in the middle of July...you seem to like to read into things and post them as facts. The DD period ended July 15th...but they never made any claims to putting out a PR then. And for someone who doesn't believe anything ARET says, why do you keep going back to something that was never said...??

My God man...do you really keep going over this every second of the day? Even Delta got delisted to the pink sheets....doesn't mean anything as far as trading goes or the performance of a company...

And if suddenly you truly hate this company and managment, why are you still posting here and following a company that you hate? Don't you think there is something wrong with that?

ARET is a new company as of last week...and the potential is truly amazing...downside is limited..and upside unlimited...any good trade and/or investor knows that...

Please move on...good luck to you

"Arete Industries, Inc. announced on May 8, 2006 that it had received a letter of intent and non-refundable deposit of $25,000 for the due diligence period that was to end June 12, 2006. 'The process has been slow but the parties are close to terms on a definitive agreement for the purchase and merger of an oil & gas company,' stated Charles Gamber CEO of Arete. The Company still needs to deal with the status of its inactive subsidiary Aggression Sports, Inc. dba Arete Outdoors and the final settlement of its outstanding debt. The Company feels like it will be able to complete the final agreement and settle all of its open items by no later than the middle of July 2006."

My question is simple. Where does it say they will release a PR on July 15th? Seems that the real trouble with the bashers of ARET is that they make erroneous statements and try and pass them off as facts. perhaps you wanted a PR on the 15th, but, I don't think they need to answer to you Fat. That is what is so das about the majority of the posts here...they make personal attacks on the legit posts and posters and try to mislead everyone. very simple rule to investing...if you like the prospects of a company...buy, if not...sell or don't buy. Very simple. And when you state a fact...you seem to get harrassed and called names like Liar and snake oil salesman.

Sorry...I think we're about to run...

Your last paragraph is most correct.

Alot of traders think pinks/OTCBB do not trade on chart technicals. That IMO is incorrect. Many times yes momo/volume creates and uptrend from news, but the pps will always follow the technical indicators.

My take on the support level is based on the last 3 months of trading, and closing prices, not intraday lows or what the last resistance point crossed was 4-6 months ago. If the support level was .005, over the last 3 months the pps would have dropped to that level, and then rebound accordingly. The pps has not been below .006-.007 over the last 3 months, and IMHO .006-.007 is the new and more accurate near term support level. Plus, .005 or .006+- not much difference if rebound does occur and continues to .015. My experience charting is that the last 3 months (esp. w/shortterm price movements) shows a more precise analysis of possible changes, etc.

Regarding the delisting and the timely PR. My understanding is the acquisition of this pipeline was not the proposed merger that ARET was trying to accomplish over the last few months, and therefore would not be any news to PR about it earilier. The acquisition is verified thru PBR Energy as well, the co. who sold it to ARET.

Even if a stock is trading as an OTCBB, can also play games and have poor business practices. Filing quarterlies, etc does not show proposed acquisitions, future revenue etc and can be misleading regardless. However, as you have stated, it is up to a company to show its worth by proper business practices.

As usual, all pinks/OTCBB's come with risk. The best of luck to you with all your trades.

Not a buy or sell recommendation

now they gotta pump you up for the diiillluuuutttiiiooonnn, come on get with the program thats how these pennies work.

when there ready you hear all they want you too & not until. I really believe this whole tight lipped, tell them nothing, don't file on time, loose the .OB status go to the pinks so we can dilute the hell out if it was a setup from the get go, if I'm wrong I will admit it but thats my belief. & I won't buy till I'm sure their not dumping.
