#44168 RE: BPTH2008 #44164

I've been in FDBL a lllooonnggg time, too long to be honest. I made good money on the way up and bought and averaged down on the way down. Now left holding big bags. I'm not saying FDBL isn't a good stock to trade/flip (wish I would have known better myself) but I bought with the intention of holding for a period of time to allow an app to be developed and brought to market.

I've quit following, quite honestly, because I got tired of the same arguments being made from BOTH longs (pumpers) and shorts. Never really anything other than "BOOMTIME", "LOAD UP", "GOING TO THE MOON" from pumpers or "SCAM THIS", "SCAM THAT" from shorts.

I think you make a great point.
I get equally annoyed at the "CEO is in jail" nonsense as I do the "we're going to be rich!" nonsense.

I don't know if this is a scam. I don't think it is. I think it's a failure.

These toxic financings are just that. They just issued a ton of stock at $0.0003. It's in the filing. It's free-trading stock at $0.0003. Do you think this financier is going to hold this stock? Really? Would you? If I gave you a bunch of $1 bills for 50 cents each, wouldn't you go spend it as fast as you can? Of course you would. There's no risk.

The problem with companies that generate no revenue, and have no assets, and make no profits, and finance "operations" (which is mostly executive salaries) with toxic stock-printing deals is that it becomes harder and harder to do that. You have to issue larger and larger amounts of stock and progressively lower prices.

That's what I mean when I say 'systemically'. The stock HAS to go down. There is simply too much dilution, and too many shares printed, at a fraction of the market price, to funds who have a business model of selling discounted stock as soon as they can.

By the way, I strongly doubt anyone is really short at this point. Systemically, it's very hard to short a sub-penny stock, and it's risk that cannot be measured for a very meager reward. We're not shorts. We're skeptics. Or we've seen this movie before.
