Since my wife works in the nations largest PTO Law office 2 blocks from the USPTO, I thought I would share just a glimpse of what I have learned over the years but first, reread this from yesterday:
The goal was to trademark the name not patent the name and look how long the process lasted. 5 months. There are patents that require years of incredible amounts of minuscule details that cannot truly be imagined in the scope necessary without being a research scientist or a lawyer. So, a significant amout of time passed. These things cost money as well.
Remember, too, that there has been a mentor friend looking over the shoulder of ARod and the latest meeting in Jupiter Beach, FL with Caro Capital recently. If research data/interview data/feedback data showed that people found the names to be confusing and there needs to be clarity with consumers and investors alike then change the name!!!
Who is anyone here to make a federal case out of yesterday's blog?
These decisions do not and cannot come lightly.
You drank the koolaid and stayed involved. OK. Stop passing judgement, enlighten yourselves and get behind the bosses. Stay together. Keep your heads in the game. We are in good hands. Remember: 3-5 years commitment as stated long ago.
