Yeah -- I had a fair sized Buy order, and got only 61 shares filled one day, and 3(!) shares filled of the same GTC order the next day, and only realized belatedly that I had been charged a $50 commission for a $1 trade.

Moral of the story: from here forward only use All-or-None orders.

What I don't understand, is why this foreign stock special commission NOW, when it wasn't before??

I have not noticed, I am not planning on buying it though. I own shares in it though. What are the fees? I have ameritrade. If I chose to dump or buy more what fees would I have to pay other than commission. PS: I am still awaiting Ameritrade to update the ticker since they did a r/s. been a damn week.
