Being net short is not a hedge as to the long shares. It zeroes them out. You are confirming my point. Adage could also be in a conspiracy to acquire millions of shares through a rathole so it doesn't have to file a Form 4. So they suppress to shake shares loose. Coming up with illegal, baseless scenarios is a waste of time.
