I miss the days of last year when the tail was wagging the dog and the miners only wanted to go up. That revamp of the miners has really screwed us up. It hasn't been the same since.
If it hits $18.60 again I'm bailing. That area seems like a brick wall for it today. I hate it when gold is up and the GDXJ starts acting stupid. There's no reason for it to be so bearish. I'm just going back to day trading this.
I'll hold for one more day. I may go into JDST tomorrow if this consolidation doesn't move up tomorrow. The RSI seems to have room on the daily chart to get to $1280 on gold and I think that may be all the room it will have. We shall see. Like you pointed out the downside on this moves faster sometimes. I may even consider a move over by the end of the day.
